Zhejiang Grecon Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
Zhejiang Grecon Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Grecon Semiconductor”) was established in May 2018 and is located in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province — known as the “First Gateway to Shanghai.” The company is strategically situated: 80 km east of Shanghai, 98 km west of Hangzhou, and 90 km south of Suzhou. It owns a facility covering 59 mu (approximately 39,000 square meters). Currently, Grecon operates four power device packaging and testing lines, with an annual production capacity of nearly 700,000 automotive modules (planned to reach 3 million/year upon full completion) and over 1 million industrial modules (also projected to reach 3 million/year when fully scaled).
Grecon Semiconductor, as a domestic Chinese power semiconductor company, offers a full range of power device products including IGBT discrete devices, IGBT modules, SiC discrete devices, and SiC modules. These products are widely used in automotive, photovoltaic, and industrial applications. The company has comprehensive capabilities including chip design, simulation, module manufacturing, reliability testing, and system-level application support. Grecon has obtained certifications for several international management systems, including IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO9001, and ISO17025.


Grecon Semiconductor currently employs over 200 staff members. The core team is composed of seasoned professionals from leading domestic and international semiconductor companies, with an average industry experience of more than 15 years. Research and development personnel account for 40% of the workforce. The company has established branch offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Suzhou, as well as regional offices in Chongqing, Hefei, Wuhu, and Tianjin.

Intelligent Manufacturing Leads, Chips Create the Future
LABORATORY
The “Provincial Key Laboratory of Electromagnetic Intelligent Sensing and Advanced Electronic Integration,” co-founded by Zhejiang Grecon Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, and the Zhejiang TianTong Institute of Electronic Information Materials, has been officially approved as a Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory. All parties, guided by the principles of mutual advancement and complementary strengths, will collaborate around key scientific and technological innovation issues in the field of electromagnetic intelligent sensing and advanced electronic integration. This partnership will focus on theoretical breakthroughs, research achievements, and talent cultivation.
The laboratory’s approval marks a major achievement in the construction of Zhejiang’s scientific and technological innovation system and provides strong support for the high-quality development of the electronic information industry. Positioned within the “315” Sci-Tech Innovation Framework of Zhejiang Province under the “Internet+” microelectronics and optoelectronics sector, the lab is oriented toward “electronic integration + electromagnetic sensing control.” It will conduct forward-looking and pioneering research on major scientific questions and key technologies in the field of advanced integrated chips.
Research efforts will aim to solve core challenges in electromagnetic and multi-physics field simulation for advanced micro/nano integrated chip design, intelligent microelectronic design and sensing, and microelectronic intelligent system integration, thereby building a high-energy innovation platform for integrated circuits.
The Grecon Laboratory has already passed CNAS accreditation. In the future, leveraging the high-quality resources and research strengths of its partners, the lab will build a cross-disciplinary, comprehensive R&D team focused on addressing frontier technical challenges through in-depth research and exploration.
Meanwhile, the lab will also actively engage in collaboration and exchanges with top domestic and international research institutions and enterprises to jointly drive scientific innovation and development.
